Kinugawa Onsen was found in Edo period and it is said that Daimyo and monks paying visit to Nikko were allowed to access this hot spring.
Now it is known as an annex of Tokyo and there are so many visitors.
Let's visit superb view spots and power spots by bicycle in Kinugawa Onsen.

Kinu Tateiwa Otsuribashi
This is a pedestrian suspension bridge and it is 140m long.
The view of the Kinugawa River and the surrounding green mountains from 40m high would cure your heart.
But take care, this bridge sways!
After acrossing the bridge, you arrive in Tateiwa and you will see the steps to the observation deck and a route to access to waterfall.

Kinugawa Onsen Ropeway
This ropeway goes up 300m high from Kinugawa Onsen Sanroku Station to the top of Mt. Maruyama in 3 and a half minutes.
Mt. Maruyama is called "The monkey mountain" and you can feed monkeys that live on the top of the mountain.
From the observation deck, you can enjoy a marvelous view of the valley in Kinugawa Onsen and the Nasu Kogen mountains.
If the weather is good, you can even see Tokyo Sky Tree.
There is also "Onsen Shrine", that organises many events like Fireworks Festival.

Fujiwaramachi Gokoku Shrine
This shrine is designated to 256 men of this area who died during the period from the Sino-Japanese War to the Pacific War.
It is famous for cherry blossoms and there are so many Someiyoshino trees.
During Night Cherry Blossom Festival, you can see cherry trees illuminated in night time.
